In 2025, Dr. Bronner’s redirected $17,660 of its operating expenses into nonprofit funding without any additional cost by partnering with PIE. By reviewing expenses across Microsoft, Dropbox, Veeam and CrowdStrike, PIE identified available capital that could be redirected toward community impact.
Dr. Bronner’s employees participated in an employee-led giving circle, researching and selecting two nonprofits serving the organ transplant community: the American Transplant Foundation and Organ Transplant Support.
The American Transplant Foundation raised $253,000 at its 20th anniversary event, thanks in part to the Dr. Bronner’s challenge grant, expanding support services for transplant patients and living organ donors.
