Making a Deeper Commitment to
Social & Environmental Impact

Companies that are deeply committed to maximizing their social and environmental impact look beyond making donations merely as a percentage of profits.  Why?  Because performance-based donations are limiting. They fluctuate with economic conditions like recessions–-or pandemics.  And nonprofits struggle with inconsistent funding enough as it is.

Forward-thinking, purpose-led business leaders strive to do better. PIE Certified Members are incubating a new global movement by building systematic giving into their company’s operational expenses. PIE members take the time and energy to align their vendors with their deeper purpose. For many PIE members, their email, internet, software, phones, energy, and merchant services expenses are now augmenting their current donations—and without any additional cost. This is a win for everyone!

PIE helps members to procure the exact same essential business services they are already using, at the same price or better, and liberate available capital that creates new recurring donations to important causes as a percentage of expenses. Members can then share their PIE Certified Badges on their website, signatures, and more to celebrate this commitment with their customers, team, and stakeholders.

These passive, recurring donations from expenses augment current donations from profits, which greatly accelerates our collective ability to solve our most challenging social and environmental issues — together! Join us at any of these levels of membership:

Companies can join the PIE movement with just one purpose-powered service.  Over time, we guide our members to systematically bake giving into one of the biggest buckets of financial resources they have for impact — their expenses.

There are four levels of certification:

1) Certified Member: All you need to become a PIE member is to purpose-power just one of your operating expenses (for example, try Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 in just 30 minutes.)

2) Silver Certified: Purpose-power two expenses (for example, add-on payment processing).

3) Gold Certified: Purpose-power three expenses (for example, add on internet service).

4) Green Certified: Purpose-power four or more expenses (For example, add phones and other voice services).
