ThAiPAS helps COTA’s local trails with every meal
A Thai street-food restaurant switched POS systems with PIE doing the heavy lifting, and donations are now baked into every card transaction.

Prang and Chip are the driving force behind ThAiPAS, bringing the vibrant tastes of Thai street food to Bend. Passionate about their community, they engaged PIE to create a systematic donation program baked into every card transaction, supporting the Central Oregon Trail Alliance’s work maintaining and expanding the region’s trails.
The team had used Square for a long time and was wary of workflow changes, downtime or lost revenue from a POS switch. PIE’s team did the vast majority of the heavy lifting, exporting menus, running tests, and staying available around the clock through the transition. The new equipment went live without a hitch.
