How Subaru of Bend directed $8,000 from payment processing to two local causes
What looked like an ordinary business expense turned into an $8,000 investment in Central Oregon, a new automotive program at La Pine High School and adaptive outdoor sport.

$4,000 went to the Bend-La Pine Education Foundation to support the new Automotive Program at La Pine High School, giving the next generation of students hands-on training and a real pathway to a career they can be proud of.
$4,000 went to Oregon Adaptive Sports, because access to the outdoors shouldn’t be determined by ability. This donation helps more people with disabilities experience adventure, freedom and the healing power of nature on their own terms.
Subaru of Bend didn’t launch a fundraiser or write a separate check. They simply looked at how they were already spending, and chose to spend it with purpose.
